God really really really loves you

Do you love God? I hope you do, because you are invited to. Because God really really really loves you. Don't be afraid to enter into an intimate love relationship with Him. Just think, that's the one thing that your enemy is dedicated to keep from happening. Is it working? He knows what he's doing. So are you willing to struggle openly (instead of privately/secretly) along side of your brothers and sisters to do all that you can together to stand up against the Devil's purposes? Remember, our struggle isn't against flesh and blood. If it were, we'd be good at loving God, and our efficiency would actually help our cause. But, no, our struggle is against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Efficiency doesn't cut it. Neat orderly sermons don't cut it either. A spiritual, intimate love relationship with our Abba Father which takes place as we abide in Him and He abides in us, and pours out His love into our hearts and we do His will and take our stand against evil will cut it. And it does cut it. It cuts deep into our hearts and we thrive. What if our struggle really was against cosmic powers over this present darkness and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places? No, it couldn't be, because our theologies don't have room for this to be true. As some friends I know would say it, "Shame." Need I say it again? I mean, I for one thrive on this.....God really really really loves you.

I love how your blogs "love" to talk about "love". Tim, let me ask you, what is love? Because if love is in verb form then that would make it an action. I believe somewhere in the Bible it might command that this is required of us all. (sarcasm mine) So does that mean that if you preach and blog about love and unity all the time that we should actually show it? If so, where is your love?

to this one,

Your question is valid, and believe me, I feel the full force of your meaning. "Where is your love" could be asked by many people close to me, and believe me, if those people don't ask me, my Enemy does. He points his finger and asks me daily, "Tim, where is your love?" "You're a failure." "You're a hypocrite." Is he justified in asking me these questions? Sorta. Its aim is my destruction, and it's effect paralyzing.

That's why Jesus has taught me to bring these questions to Him, because He pleads for me in my defense. I can smile and try again. I am sorry I failed you.

Your comment is a challenge to more than myself. Only I wish you had been willing to identify yourself so that we could seek to restore what was broken, and relieve the pain I have caused you.

If there is something else you want from me, please ask. I am not ashamed of exposure because I've already been exposed, AND yet accepted by God. (and there's a lot more I could be ashamed of in this exposure, or if my perception is correct, you already know this!) I have an A on my chest!!! This, friend, is why I'm so passionate about love. I am loved more than I could ever dare dream. And believe me, I don't deserve it. :) Take it up with my Father, should you find my words to be full of crap or masked. If your freedom is prevented by my failure to love you in some particular way, please talk to me ASAP. I do love you, and I want to show you that.
